Jambiani Hotel

Casa Del Mar 
Longs and classic Casa del Mar has a cosy atmosphere and a lush garden. Location is perfect for exploring the village and the beach. Perfect for families and good value for money.

Coral Rock Hotel
A hotel with some action and easygoing atmosphere. Here you sit on a cliff overlooking the incredibly turquoise Indian Ocean. Cozy rooms, great views, good food and generally active. On Saturdays, it is music and dance.

Mwezi Eco Resort
Mwezi merged traditional building technique using clay and wood and the characteristic makuti roofs, with a modern and exclusive taste. All in a beautiful setting. We especially love the evenings in the lounge.

Red Monkey Lodge
Located on the best beach on Zanzibar  with a relaxed barefoot atmosphere . On Mondays people gather for Crazy Mondays where local musicians, visitors and others  play music and enjoy jamming together. There are colony of monkeys hanging arond in the forest next to the hotel.

 Uzuri Villa
A stunningly beautiful villa surrounded by bougainvillea and other tropical plants. The pool and terraces offers private relaxation. With just eight rooms, you get lots of attention from both staff and chef. One of Zanzibar´s most soulful hotels according to lovezanzibar.

Zanzibar Retreat
There are lots of cozy hotel in Matemwe and this is our favorite for families because the pool allows swimming all day.  And for you who wants AC- this is it. Cosy relaxed atmosphere and very good food.

Seles Bungalows
If you are on a budget and want to mingle with other travelers, this is the hotel in Matemwe. Simple and charming with sand between your toes.

Nungwi hotel

Flame Tree Cottages
In a quiet part of Nungwis beach is only a short walk from the seafront promenade and all the cozy restaurants. Flame Tree Cottages bungalows is situated  in a beautiful garden with pool. The interior is somewhat old fashioned but it is compensated by the breakfast served on your private veranda.

Z Hotel
We like the Z Hotel for its high ambitions, sea views and infinity pool. The roof terrace at the Cinnamon Bar has Nungwis most amazing sunset.

Langi Langi
Charming through and through, but above all, a wonderful restaurant on the piers of the sea. Super cozy evening with candle light and sunset.

This boutique hotel in the heart of Stone Town is an experience in itself with unique rooms, antiquities and carefully planned food. Each room is different, and many of them have balconies so you can follow the life on the street below. Wonderful Violet has balconies on three sides with sofas, plants and hammocks. The problem is that you do not really know how to do: stay and look down or be on the street and look up.

Kholle House
This boutique hotel is located in a quiet and charming area in Stone Town. The house is filled with carefully selected antiques following the spice route to Zanzibar. A la carte breakfast and a feeling of being at home – we like a lot.

House of Spices
This small and well-kept boutique hotel is blessed with the best restaurant in town. Great decor and lots of antique details to discover. Wonderful staff.

Stone Town Cafe Bed and Breakfast
Stone Town Cafe is a meeting place for locals,  expats and tourists and there is always an ongoing meeting  with laughter. We like the food and the location on the shopping street Kenyatta Rd.
